Right after highschool (back in '88) I went into a community college with thoughts of grandear, and I dropped all but two classes. I was too much into "having a good time" at 19, and I just wasted a lot of time. I signed up for the Air Force at 20 and did basic and tech school (as a 924, or laboratory technician) during the Gulf War time period. I was in the Air Force for four years, and then I went back to college (to get my Theology degree) at Lee University in Tennessee, and I got through in three years. So, I agree, the Military does seem to prepare a person for school (a lot better then high school, at least).
